Welcome to the Nortwest 4x4 Forum.

All visitors can view the public section of the forum, however only registered users are allowed to post messages and access the private section.

The real-time nature of this forum makes it impossible for us to review all messages or confirm the validity of information posted. We are not responsible for any messages posted, the messages express the views of the author of the messages only. We will remove objectionable messages, if we determine that removal is necessary.

The guidelines below are designed to clarify various responsibilities of the users here at the Northwest 4x4 forums. Please read and become familiar with them.

By accessing this website, you hereby agree to accept all terms of use as laid out below. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms of use, you should not access this website.

The purpose of the forum and website is to provide a friendly place where 4x4 enthusiasts can get together in a civilised manner to discuss anything they like be it 4x4 related or otherwise in the relevant forum section.

Anyone is entitled to use the forum as long as they adhere to these rules.

New members not posting and getting involved after a couple of weeks will be deleted without warning. We don't want to end up with 100's of users that are not active and do not play any part in the forum. It takes a couple of minutes to register but only seconds to say 'hi' and introduce yourself.

Members with false registration details will also be deleted (i.e. all fields populated with numbers or the same text) as this shows an unwillingness to be a part of the site and forums in general, remember, the whole idea of this site is to be part of the same friendly community, to get involved and help each other out. If that's not what you want then please do not register.

Our intention is for the forum to be an enjoyable experience for all users - whilst we all have opinions, please keep your posts polite and friendly - We will not tolerate spamming or flaming.

All posts should all be relevant to the forum topic - this is very important when trying to find a particular subject again where the topic of conversation has changed during the course of the thread, if you want to change the subject then please start a new thread in a relevant section.

Posts relating to illegal topics, pornography etc or anything else that may be offensive to someone will be removed and the user banned from the forum.

Please think carefully about what you are about to post before you submit it - if you think it may offend someone, then re-word it.

You may not ever represent yourself as another person, company or entity.

Users agree not to use the email addresses of any members of the forum for any other purpose than individual personal communication. Any mailing in bulk to the forum members or any unsolicited marketing email to members will result in immediate suspension of your membership.

All images shown in the gallery section and throughout the site are the property of Northwest4x4 and cannot be used elsewhere without the express consent of the forum administrator, the uploader of any images to the website gives the sites owners permission to use the images in any way on the site.

Leave the moderating to the actual Moderators, please do not attempt to put another poster in his/her place. Even if you're in the right, we prefer instead that you use the Report Post link if you feel that someone is breaking the board rules or if something needs the attention of a Moderator.

Forum signatures are to be used respectfully, please do not annoy other members by making your signature into some sort of web ad or overly distracting. Linking to a product for sale is strictly prohibited.

The advertising of items or services for personal gain in the forums without prior permission from the site admin is not allowed and will not be tolerated. The sale of individual items or vehicles is permissible by a private owner in our Classifieds section, however selling multiple items of the same product may be considered a commercial post and will be removed at the discretion of the Moderators and/or Admin and a warning given. Repeated breach of this rule will result in your account being disabled.

Please type in English, it can be very annoying and difficult trying to read through posts written in 'text talk', and impossible for visitors from different countries.

Threads and posts questioning the actions or decisions of forum moderations will be deleted on sight, and the appropriate action taken (up to and including forum bans) against the thread starter and/or participants. The Moderators decision is final.

The opinions expressed in any section of the forum are the opinions of the poster and not necessarily that of the Administrator or Moderators of the forum, we will not be held responsible for any outcome whatsoever due to the following of any advice offered by any member, be that mechanical or otherwise.

We reserve the right to remove any posts for any reason and to change the rules relating to the use of this forum without advance notice to any member.
We also reserve the right to ban any user from accessing the forum for any reason.

Remember, we want this forum to be a fun and helpful place to 'meet' and exchange views, so please help us to keep it that way.
