A few of us had a trip to Southport today (17-9-06) to the leisure lakes, had a brilliant time with loads to do, if you're in the area then give it a go, you won't regret it ;o). You can see the pics in the gallery section.

Went watching a winch challenge at Cowm quarry today, what a brilliant site and a great day, was quite extreme to say the least. We're planning a play day there on either the 29th October or 26th November, should be a top day out with plenty to do. Let us know via the forums if you'd like to come along, will start a thread on the subject in the 'planned events' section. You can see the pics from today in the gallery section.

29.08.06

The date for the next 'pay and play day' has been set for the 8th October as stated below, the day will start at 10am till 4 - 5pm with hot food and refreshments served all day, please let us know if you intend to come by ringing Yvonne or let us know via the forum so we have a rough idea of the numbers we will have to cater for etc. Click HERE for a clear map of the location and HERE for a zoomable version online. With our existing member numbers being back to full strength and the site open to everyone and all the rain we've had this past few weeks this promises to be even better than the last one! Hope to see you all there.

 Cheers, Steve.

Got dirrrrtay!

An at home play day was arranged for today with quite a few turning up for what would turn out to be a brilliant day, with lots of fun had by everyone who seemed to have silly grins plastered on their faces for most of the day.  :-D  2 of our gang (Chris and Ste) were away so couldn't be there so can't wait for the next one so we'll be at full strength again.

Thanks to John and his lovely wife for all their hard work and effort in making today possible (oh and the use of his land) :-D .... it is very much appreciated.

There is to be another day at Johns track planned for probably the 8th October with an entry fee of £20 on the day, with all funds raised from entry fees and food going to two local charities, it will be open to all so why not get in touch via the forum and come over and give it a try, I'll open a new thread on the subject. Johns land is basically a motocross track that any road going 4x4 could mooch about on happily all day or for those of you wanting something a little more challenging there are endless routes thru the off-track areas with hills, ditches, water and a small pond/mud-bog to contend with, and that's before we invent new seemingly impossible places to go lol. The 1st few pics from today cover pretty much all of the 12 acre site from a distance so check them out and keep the 8th October free. If there are any changes I'll post the details here.

Visit the Gallery page for all our pictures

Cheers, Steve.
